Nowadays, people have become more concerned about their health. However, despite the investment in their wellness, many tend to overlook their eye health. Some don’t take necessary action regarding their eye problems unless they see visible symptoms. But then again, prevention is always better than cure.
This is why we, Eye Mo, decided to not just stop with our earlier social media campaign #eyeritation.
We committed ourselves to raise the bar for people’s eye health through the first ever National Eye Care Awareness Month in the Philippines. As the leading first aid solution for minor eye irritation, we want to reach people from all walks of life (especially those who are at BPO companies, the youth and women organizations) and promote the eye care that people often disregard. In doing this, we also support the healthy vision month which takes place in May every year.
All happening this May! The campaign kick-off took place at SM City Clark, Pampanga, on May 11, 2017. The next two events will take place at SM City Manila (on May 17) and SM City Dasmariñas (on May 25). Don’t miss us on the train stations of LRT (May 18) and MRT (May 24). The events are spearheaded by LF Asia Philippines, Inc., a leading healthcare distributor, in partnership with the owner and manufacturer of Eye Mo, the Combiphar Group of Companies.
The event was jam-packed with information and fun. We set up five booths with games to increase retention to eye care. After completing all five games, we gave our guests Eye Mo freebies. Our guests were also privileged to have their eyes checked for free at eye care booth.
We also put up a special stage. And since we are in the Philippines, the event had to start with dancing and singing: a dance performance by Ace of Bace dance troupe and live performances by Anna Ramsey and RJ Agustin. What a crowd! Everybody joined us in our special Eye Care Dance and sang along. It was a true party. Ophthalmologist Juan Paolo Delos Santos also dropped by to discuss the five symptoms of eye irritation and even had time to play some games with us. Eye Mo’s ambassador, Intoy (Julian Roxas), finally joined on stage to play the staring game. Although being known for this healthy eyes, he has to work on his staring skills because he did not make it to the staring game final.
We thank everybody for visiting us at SM City Clark and hope to see you at our next event in SM City Manila. Don’t miss it!
