It’s the 2nd National Eye Care Awareness Month this May and what better way to celebrate the occasion than by visiting our fellow Filipinos in Barangay Payatas with Eyes Mo, Care Mo!
The REDvolution happened in one of the covered courts here in Payatas last May 23, 2018, where we gathered people of different ages to educate, promote, and raise eye care awareness. We invited prominent eye doctors to teach the citizens of Payatas the proper ways on how to take care of our eyes and gave light to misconceptions about eye health. Aside from eye health education, we also gave the families who attended the event various goodies and freebies. Different games were also present in the venue which the kids and the kids-at-heart enjoyed. Free eye consultation were also provided for everyone right there in the venue.
Our mission to spread eye care awareness to the nation does not start and stop within just one month. Through the Eyes Mo, Care Mo campaign, we are striving to inform our fellow Filipinos about the importance of eye health all throughout the year.
